How to play Minesweeper
Reveal squares without hitting a mine. A number shows how many mines touch that square, including diagonals. Use those clues to identify safe moves and flag likely mines. Your first reveal is protected, and a completed board is timed.
Choose Beginner, Intermediate, or Expert. On a phone, use Flag mode before tapping a square to place or remove a flag. On desktop, right-click a covered square to flag it.
